Just back from completing one of the things on the bucket list – learning to sail, or at least learning a little. The Irish National Sailing and Powerboat School offer a variety of courses from their base on the West Pier in Dun Laoghaire Harbour and I took their introductory one. The weather was perfect with hot weather and calm seas but enough wind to work with. All the tuition is on board their 26 foot 1720 sport yacht and is to a very high standard. A great way to spend a few days and explore around Dublin Harbour!
